If you like your coffee dark and flavorful. Order this K Cup from Starbucks. It has a great balance of spice notes.I usually use the bagged Cafe Verona in a high quality drip brewer, and occasionally use the grind your own beans version also. In comparison to those, the K-Cup version tastes mostly the same but it's weaker. Not surprised by that. I am surprised that Starbucks only puts ten K-Cups in a box that's made for twelve. And I thought it was an environmentally responsible company? I know, if one is concerned about the environment, don't use K-Cups at all. When I opened the box I thought, hmmm something's missing and then I actually read the box and saw it said ten cups included. I'm used to seeing twelve K-Cups in grocery store boxes, but it's apparent Starbucks shorts folks in the grocery store where these are usually sold by price matching other brands that have twelve per box. The price premium buying these on Amazon currently, if I did, would be 60 percent higher here than when I bought the box in the grocery store. The coffee is decent, but I also like the GMC Dark Magic or Newman's Own Extra Bold K-Cups, which are cheaper and just as good for me when I'm looking for convenience.
